In a world where the lights never seem to turn off, what will always bind us together as human beings? Are we unified only by the basic biological rhythm that beats within us, or do we share more in common than we think?

Inspired by Mexican-Canadian artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s staggering installation, Pulse Topology, choreographer Liat Roth worked with the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art to create a new site-specific work in the museum installation itself. Under the immersive canopy of suspended lightbulbs, and with original music by Jacob Schwartzberg, a new dance came to light.
